Walk Through a Book with StoryWalks®

Sometimes it can feel like we are being transported to a new world when we are reading. Now with StoryWalks®, you can literally walk through the pages of a book.

StoryWalks are outdoor reading adventures that combine the joy of reading with the benefits of being active in nature. You’ll find the pages of a storybook displayed along a path in seven Calgary parks, giving readers of all ages the chance to enjoy a book while taking a stroll.

These self-guided experiences promote literacy, encourage physical activity, and strengthen community connections. They also feature Canadian authors and publishers. Discover the full list of featured titles.
