The 2026 Family Reading Pick is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.
Family Reading Pick creates space for families to share in a literary adventure, both through the novel and graphic novel.
Starting January 27, copies will be available at all Library locations, excludingRocky Ridge and Prototype: Skyview. There will also be activity booklets available with literacy activities and discussion questions.
One Star: books with simple words, sight words, and repetition.
Decodable and dyslexia-friendly books that use phonics for young readers.
Two Stars: books with longer sentences and words that build vocabulary.
Three Stars: books with more complex stories, challenging vocabulary, more difficult sentence structure
You can have three of these early readers checked out at a time. When you're done, just return them and check out three more!
