Children’s Illustrator in Residence: Let’s Make Characters

Join the 2026 Children’s Illustrator in Residence to create your very own character with just paper, pencil and colour. Using the basics of design you will be guided through a series of exercises to help you loosen up and discover the character designer inside of you. By the end you’ll have a character to start building your own story.
