Children’s Illustrator in Residence: Let’s Make a Book

Join the 2026 Children’s Illustrator in Residence to make your own dummy. A dummy is a book before it becomes a book, when an author and/or illustrator takes their story and puts it on paper to see how it might look in print. We will construct our own books out of paper to see how our stories look and feel in the hands.
