Calgary Institute for Humanities 8th Annual LGBTQ2S+ Lecture: Decolonizing Transgender History: The View from the Asia Pacific

As part of Calgary Pride Week, the Calgary Institute for the Humanities, CPL, UCalgary Alumni, and the Calgary Foundation present Dr. Howard Chiang on transgender history in Chinese-speaking societies through a decolonial lens. He is the author of two award-winning books and the recipient of the 2026 Dan David Prize in History.
