Ways to partner with the Library

Calgary Public Library works collaboratively with many organizations, corporations, and individuals each year to offer high quality programs and services based on the needs of the community, and varied exhibits and installations to spark the imagination.

If you or your organization would like to explore partnering with the Library, please begin by reviewing our Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan and then complete one of the partnership applications below. 

The Library is currently seeking community partners to support Library activations. Organizations, collectives, artists, performers, musicians, cultural experts or community service providers whose work primarily focuses on:

• 2SLGBTQ+ community or representing the 2SLGBTQ+ experience (apply by April 30, 2026)

What happens after I submit my partnership application?

The Library receives an overwhelming number of submissions and unfortunately cannot accommodate or respond to every request.

Your submission will be reviewed and kept on file for one year. If we feel that it aligns with our current programming priorities and we have the capacity to potentially include it, a Library staff member will contact you.

Note that, requests for events or programs that occur with less than 2 months notice cannot be accommodated.
