Requests should be submitted at least two to three weeks in advance. Collecting this information will help us to facilitate a match with an Elder who can best speak to the topic you are interested in discussing. Please note that there are some areas of Indigenous history, spirituality, and culture that Elders are not comfortable sharing due to protocols or the sensitive nature of the information. The Elders’ Guidance Circle is supported by Suncor Energy Foundation with Elders’ honoraria provided by the Calgary Foundation. Learn more about the Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
